What Does AGIR Do?
In hopes of breaking their isolation, improving their living conditions and promoting their integration and their power to act within Canadian society. We offers support services to vulnerable LGBTQIA+ migrants, includes Support Groups, Drop-in Sessions, Individual Accompaniment, and more.
Our program is designed for community organizations and other groups that provide services to LGBTQIA+ migrants. It shed light on realities queer immigrants and refugees living in Montreal faces, and it opens a discussion on inclusion and anti-oppressive practices.
AGIR defends the rights and interests of LGBTQIA+ migrants through organizing non-partisan awareness campaigns. As a member of the Canadian Council for Refugees, our participation allows us to contribute to the development of more inclusive social policies that fight poverty and promote integration.
Dear friends and family 💖 - AGIR welcomes support from the community. Your donations make it possible for AGIR to continue accompaniment and support work, to provide information and events where migrants can make connections and support each other.
