The Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants (CSIC) is an organization to protect the users of immigration consulting services. It ensures the education, competency and discipline of its members. Immigration consultants should be members of this organization. There are hundreds of “immigration consultants” who are not members. If you want to hire an immigration consultant, first check the list on the CSIC website to see if he or she is a member.
